Tongue-tied is an early language-learning beta. Its feedback helps you practise, but it can be incomplete or wrong.

Who provides Tongue-tied

Using the beta

The beta is for invited adult testers. Provide accurate account information, keep your password private and do not share access to your account. You are responsible for activity through your account.

AI conversations and feedback

AI responses, transcriptions, translations and grammar feedback can be incomplete or wrong. Check anything important with a teacher or another reliable source. Do not use Tongue-tied for emergencies, legal matters, medical matters or other high-stakes decisions.

Fair use

Live voice conversations may have daily or monthly limits because they create real service costs. Do not automate requests, probe or disrupt the service, bypass limits, upload unlawful material, impersonate another person or use Tongue-tied to harm or abuse others.

Your content

You keep ownership of the words, notes and other content you provide. You give Tongue-tied the limited permission needed to process that content and return the service to you. You must have the right to submit anything you provide.

Tongue-tied content

The app, website, design, exercises, explanations, branding and software belong to Tongue-tied or its licensors. You may use them personally through the beta. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute them except where applicable law expressly allows it.

Availability and changes

The beta may change, pause or end. Features and experimental data may be added, changed or removed. We do not promise uninterrupted access. If a paid plan is introduced, its price and terms will be shown before you agree to pay.

Ending access

You can stop using Tongue-tied at any time and delete your account from the You tab. We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, other people or our costs, or where these terms are materially breached.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, product liability, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited. For simple negligence, liability is limited to breaches of essential contractual duties and to damage that was reasonably foreseeable and typical when the agreement began. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Law and disputes

German law applies, without removing any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of your usual country of residence. If you are a consumer, the courts available to you under mandatory law remain available.

Changes and contact
