Does the app work offline?

Practice, Notes, vocabulary, translations and grammar explanations work offline. Talk needs an internet connection because it uses a live AI conversation partner.

Why can't Talk connect?

Check that your iPhone has working mobile data or Wi-Fi, then try again.

Why is there no sound?

Check the speaker control in the app, your iPhone volume and the silent switch. You can manage German voices in your iPhone's Spoken Content settings.

Where is my learning data kept?

A copy stays on your iPhone. Your signed-in account also stores your words, notes, recent conversation transcripts, feedback and learning profile so they can be restored. Tongue-tied does not save conversation audio.

How do I delete my account?

Open You, choose Account, then choose Delete account. This removes the account and its Tongue-tied data.
